Outreach

We believe in being part of something greater than ourselves. We support 18 missionaries & outreaches, teach our kids to give through BGMC, and serve our community whenever possible. In 2024, we gave over $55,000 to missions—and aim to grow that each year.

BGMC

BGMC is a program that awakens and activates creative compassion in kids within the local church so that the next generation is empowered to pray, give, and go. They learn about a new missionary each month in various regions of the world through engaging storytelling, visuals, and games that challenge kids to embrace sacrificial living for the sake of the gospel.   At CCC, we see every generation personally responsible for the Mission of the Church and strive to instill a missional worldview with the goal of compassionate Missions Champions who discover how God’s heart can be their heart.”   Where Do BGMC Offerings Come From? -Young children giving in Buddy Barrels -Older children making faith promises -Parents and other adults receiving special offerings What Does BGMC Money Buy? Our missionaries can use BGMC funds for any ministry supplies that relate to evangelism and discipleship. -Puppets, music, and video tapes -Tracts, Bibles, and literature -Sound systems, computers, and copy machines -And a whole lot more! Why Give Offerings To BGMC? BGMC goes to where the need is the greatest, where the timing is the most urgent, and where people's lives can be changed forever. When you give to BGMC, you are helping our entire ministry team all at once!

Second Harvesters

In the nursing home there is an immediate need for people to share the gospel. Being on the threshold of eternity, the residents are desperate for hope, and need to be reminded of God's love. Second Harvesters is a group that will do that. We hold devotions at the nursing home, interact with the residents, and pray with them. During the holidays we can show love through cards, passing out flowers, and sing Christmas songs. Our goal is to be God's harvesters and to not waste an opportunity to spread the gospel and His love.   Matthew 9:35-38 Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields."

Water Handout

Every year, CCC does a give back to the community by standing at the crossroads handing out "a cup of cold water" and invitations to church- without accepting a single dollar in return. If you want to be a part of this awesome Outreach event, keep an eye out for the date to appear in our church calendar as well as announcements both in person and online. The following is a quote from Pastor Tim from 2022's Water Handout. "The water handout was awesome and encouraging to all of us that got to show the love of Jesus. Just to be able to give something as simple as a bottle of water, smile, and say "Jesus loves you"! Anytime Jesus is lifted up it is not done in vain. It has opened up many opportunities to pray with several people. Only God knows what the full impact will be, but His word says if you give a cup of water in His name, He records it. I also would like to thank all the MANY volunteers that made this come together. A big shout out to the Wickline family for heading this event up!"   -Pastor Tim Goss
